Beavers Retreat is a luxurious, hi-tech, detached house which faces east over Somerford Lagoon and also benefits from a large west facing balcony to enjoy the sunsets with a relaxing drink. The house sleeps up to ten guests in five bedrooms, has a large downstairs living/kitchen/dining/play area, is beautifully furnished and very well equipped.

Accommodation includes:
  • Stunning master bedroom with super king sized “floating” bed, large mirror television and en suite shower room, with balcony overlooking Somerford Lagoon.
  • Three further double bedrooms – two with balconies – and a large twin bedroom.
  • Further shower room and bathroom with double bath.
  • Huge ground floor living/dining/play area, with bi-fold and sliding doors leading to decked area. Dining table for 10, contemporary furnishings.
  • Decked area overlooks Somerford Lagoon and has a large gas barbeque and table and chairs. Outdoor bean bags. Grassed area between house and lake.
  • Large, well-equipped kitchen, with breakfast bar, double oven with warming drawer, microwave, fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher.
  • 42" flat screen television with Freeview and DVD, integral Opus music system with ceiling speakers

Free access passes to the on-site ArtSpa, a luxury spa with slate lined 20 metre indoor and outdoor heated pools, outdoor plunge eco pool, steam room, sauna, fully equipped gym and treatment rooms for a range of massages and spa beauty sessions.

Lower Mill also has two tennis courts, two children’s play areas, 450 acres of private nature reserve with lakeside walks and cycle routes. Wildlife includes over-wintering wildfowl, otters, owls, bats, deer and the first European beavers to be introduced into England.
